Zespół Szkół Technicznych im. Mikołaja Kopernika
Zespół Szkół Technicznych are technical and vocational schools giving education in various profiles. It exists since 1962. The aim of technical school is giving both vocational and secondary education. Vocational school educate towards specific professions.
The school building has been built in 1970. It consists of:
- Over 30 classrooms
- Specialist laboratories (e.g. for mechatronics, electronics, geology)
- Computer rooms
- Library and reading room
- Modern sports pitch and two well-equipped gyms
- Fitness room and school kiosk
Students coming to our school after finishing 3-year middle school can choose from various education profiles:
- Logistics
- Logistics with military preparation
- Geology
- Trade
- Environmental protection
- Electronics
- Mechatronics
In technical school students are educated towards their chosen professions, they also get comprehensive education (e.g. Polish, English, German, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Social studies, Cultural studies, Sports, etc). After four years, they can take a school-leaving exam (matura exam), as well as professional exam.
In the afternoons students can participate in various special activities groups and clubs, e.g. European Club, Ecological Club, sport groups, theatre group, as well as additional classes in general subjects.
